Job description

A CEE-based multinational company specializing in wholesale and retail is looking for a Finance manager for their well established and successful company in Zagreb, Croatia.

Finance Manager (m/f)

Work duties:
- Responsible for all financial monthly reports to the management (balance of payments, success balance, expense account, …)
- Extensive quarterly reports
- Weekly cash flow reports (responsibility and authorization for the cash flow: payments, liquidity)
- Responsible for tax issues
- Optimization of business in the organization unit
- Responsible for salary account
- Conducting internal trainings related to finance
- For the controlling area of work the person has a professional support from HQ
- Short term goal is to review, consolidate and optimize processes in a financial department (4 direct reports)

The person directly reports to the MD in Croatia.

Requirements

Requirements:
- University level education, specialized in business economy (finance, bookkeeping)
- 3-5 years of working experience in the field of bookkeeping
- 2 years of experience in the field of finance and/or controlling
- At least 2 years of experience as a leader of a team
- Experience in retail business is of advantage
- Excellent knowledge of English language and communication skills in native language
- Ability to make rational decisions
- Demonstrated analytical thinking ability and skills,
- Broad and complex understanding of business.
