On Friday 14 and Saturday 15 May 2010, the EBRD will hold its Annual Meeting and Business Forum in Zagreb (Croatia) and is therefore in a need of a number of enthusiastic candidates to support the Annual Meeting.

Participation in this event is a great opportunity for students looking for a possibility to gain relevant international experience in addition to stimulating compensation package.


Meeting Room Attendant (m/f)

Job Description:

  • All candidates should have a good working knowledge of spoken English;
  • Well presented, tidy appearance, energetic, enthusiastic and self-confident;
  • Experience in dealing with the public an advantage;
  • Some knowledge of the EBRD and its Annual Meeting is desirable. All candidates will be required to answer general questions and queries from delegates and participants and give accurate and helpful information or directions. Full training will be given;
  • Meeting room attendants will work on the Board of Governors' meeting or the Business Forum or the Civil Society Organisation programme, under management supervision. They will be required to:
    • Assist in the management of the meeting rooms;
    • Provide a general stewarding service within the rooms, including tidying and resetting of chairs and other equipment;
    • Respond to delegates, business guests and speakers enquiries;
    • Keep statistical records - event attendees, audio-visual equipment used etc.

Skils:

  • Good interpersonal skills, calm and pleasant personality;
  • A good spoken knowledge of English;
  • Ability to make themselves understood clearly and precisely;
  • Ability to assimilate information, understand and carry out instructions precisely;
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, helpful and self-confident.

Dates/Hours of work:

The estimated period of work is from Monday 10 May to Saturday 15 May 2010, from approximately 08:00 to approximately 20:00.

All Meeting Room Attendants should be flexible and be prepared to work long hours.
