Job description
Our Personal Systems Group (PSG) business that has the widest range of products within HP: commercial desktop PCs, notebooks, monitors, professional workstations, intelligent handhelds, home and wireless network technologies, thin clients, DVD writers.
We're currently looking for a:
PSG Category Manager for Croatia (m/f)
In this role you will define and manage the product offering, positioning, and pricing across the Product life Cycle, guiding the direct/indirect sales teams on such product related dimensions. You will be responsible for sales to partners including managing stock levels and sales initiatives. You will plan the business objective for the PSG portfolio, and achieve this plan through on-going adjustments of the product related decisions. You will act as the lead expert in competition product knowledge in all dimensions (product knowledge, pricing, marketing, customer requirements). English language active knowledge required.
Key responsibilities:
- sales skills, experience in sales to partners
- technical pre-sales support for PSG products
- planning and introducing new generation products to the market
- support to sales team for products within personal systems group
- product forecasting
- active participation in marketing activities regarding PSG products
- participating in sales planning on country level
Requirements
- University or Bachelors degree
- typically 5-8 years of professional experience with a combination of Marketing, Sales, Business Planning experience preferred
- consumer and/or Commercial Partner management expertise / End User Acct management as an alternative
- IT industry knowledge
- business planning skills
- financial planning and modelling skills
- ccomfortable to manage high complexity business planning and reporting
- strong communication skills at senior management internally and externally
- knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices.
- negotiation skills and ability to frame the product value proposition to customers/partners
- leadership skills and cross functional expertise (sales, supply chain, marketing)
