SELECTIO, together with our international consortium partners, is looking for various experts for implementation of technical assistance projects in Croatia, funded by European Commission, in the area of Vocational Education and Training. Our consortium consists of distinguished international consulting companies, with extensive global and local experience in development projects, especially in the Vocational Education and Training (VET).

Project purpose:

• To strengthen and consolidate the results of the VET curricular reform accomplished under the EU CARDS VET programme and ensure coherence of provision with respect to the process of redefining competence-based VET qualifications and curricula in full conformity with the long-term priorities of the economy at the regional/national level and the development of CROQF/National Curriculum
• To widen access to good-practice examples and empower practitioners at all levels of the VET system/economy for performing relevant tasks they are called on to undertake

VET Capacity Building Expert in the area of VET standards/curriculum - Expert 1 (m/f)

Duration and location:

• At least 200 working days over 24 months
• Planned project start: January 2010
• Primarily in Zagreb with occasional visits to other parts of Croatia.

Qualifications and skills:

• university degree
• fluency in both written and spoken English

General professional experience:

• 5 years of professional experience in the VET
• 1 year of work experience in transition and/or pre-accession countries is considered an asset.

Specific professional experience:

• Experience with VET standards and curriculum development in sectoral approach
• 3 years of experience in capacity building activities in the field of VET and/or general education.

VET Qualification / Curriculum Development Expert - Expert 2 (m/f)

Duration and location:

• at least 320 working days over 24 months
• Planned project start: January 2010
• Primarily in Zagreb with occasional visits to other parts of Croatia

Qualifications and skills:

• University degree
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.

General professional experience:

• 10 years professional experience in VET out of which at least 3 years in VET qualifications/curriculum-led reform processes
• 1 year of work experience in transition and/or pre-accession countries is considered an asset.

Specific professional experience:

• 2 years of experience in facilitating and/or working on the development of the VET occupational standards, qualifications and/or curricula
• Experience with quality assurance mechanisms for the development of occupational standards and/or qualifications and/or curricula development
• 1 year of experience working on topics related to the EQF.
