Office Manager (m/f) - Zagreb

EPRD Office for Economic Policy and Regional Development Ltd. will be working with the Agency for Vocational Education and Training, Department for Financing and Contracting of IPA Programme in Zagreb as part of an IPA project “Implementation of new curricula”.

At the moment we are looking for candidates for the office manager, who will be based in Zagreb and his/her services will be required for a period of 18 months (full time), starting from mid April 2010.


The office manager’s responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the project office and general clerical work
  • Supporting the experts in daily work incl. assistance in organising meetings, seminars, etc.
  • Assisting the experts and participants of events with arrangements for travel, accommodation etc.
  • Financial follow-up of the project and bank transactions, financial reports and documentation
  • Identifying, contracting and monitoring commercial translation and interpretation services
  • Acting as interpreter and translator for day-to-day work of the team of experts
  • Attending meetings, training workshops etc. and producing minutes


Skills and experience required:

The office manager will have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Croatian, and should also:

  • Have excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Be computer literate (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Have experience of office management in EU or similar projects (a strong advantage)
  • Preferably have some understanding of financial management
