On Friday 14 and Saturday 15 May 2010, the EBRD will hold its Annual Meeting and Business Forum in Zagreb (Croatia) and is therefore in a need of a number of enthusiastic candidates to support the Annual Meeting.

Participation in this event is a great opportunity for students looking for a possibility to gain relevant international experience in addition to stimulating compensation package.


Delegation Receptionist (m/f)

Key tasks and responsibilities:

The role of the delegation receptionist is to provide a reception service for delegation offices.

Duties will include:

  • Greeting delegates and visitors, and directing them to the relevant offices;
  • Providing information on Annual Meeting events and giving directions to function rooms, facilities, etc;
  • Ensuring that the press or any other visitor does not access delegation offices unescorted.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • A good command of spoken English, and fluency in other languages as required;
  • Strong communication skills, including pleasant and efficient telephone manner and diplomacy and tact;
  • Ability to deal calmly and effectively with all enquiries and requests;
  • Ability to follow instructions;
  • Willingness to help others as and when required.

Personal Profile:

  • Smart presentation, professional and confident attitude;
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, and a capacity for hard work;
  • Ability to work efficiently and cheerfully as part of a team, especially during quiet periods;
  • Good sense of priorities and initiative with an attention for detail;
  • Reliable, flexible approach with the willingness to work overtime if required.

Dates/Hours of work:

The estimated period of work is from Monday 10 to Sunday 16 May 2010, from approximately 08:00 to approximately 20:00.
