Credit Analyst (m/f)
-Croatia and exYu countries excluding Slovenia-

Reporting directly to the Credit Manager CSEE (Central South Eastern Europe), the Credit Analyst is responsible for managing and monitoring customer credit, analyzing key information and reports to make strategic and tactical credit and related customer decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the activities of a team of professionals and para-professionals to ensure that credit applications are accurately assessed and that outstanding debts are followed-up according to established collection targets
• Conduct credit investigations
• Evaluate and review the credit worthiness of customers to minimize the organization’s credit risk
• Monitor the status of individual credit accounts so that problem debts can be quickly identified and addressed
• Monitor customers’ financial status taking appropriate actions to prevent potential bad debt via regular reviews of customer financial data which may be varying and complex in nature
• Auditing of credit limits
• Control of claims (based on sales area)
• Regular information on the sale of liquid assets
• Create Strong focus on accounts receivables management -> Ensure financial data for Credit Manager CSEE (AR, DSO and past dues review)

Requirements:

• An undergraduate degree with concentration in a business related field (i.e. Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc.) is required; an advanced degree (i.e. MBA or other advanced degree) is desirable
• Fluent in English
• A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in credit management ideally in a large and global company
• Experience in credit assessment and analysis, involving varied and complex financial statements
• Knowledge of financial reports analysis and a good  understanding of financial/credit indicators with the ability to interpret the information from a risk assessment perspective
• Good working knowledge and experience using Microsoft applications, specifically Word, Excel, Power Point; Experience with SAP highly
• Proven negotiation skills 
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable systems, processes and practices

• First experience with people management and building organizational capability (if applicable)
