for the division Group Organiation/IT of the Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank International AG (Klagenfurt / Carinthia), the international operating financial group in South-East Europe, Austria and Italy 

Your major tasks

  • Supervise and approves any DWH/BI design documents and any technical documentation.
  • Creation of technical specification and technical design documents based on business requirement specifications.
  • Evaluation of BI solutions based on the existing BI application- and data architecture.
  • Design Data Models and ETL templates.
  • Responsibility for technical metadata management.
  • Development of guidelines & conventions and monitors them (all further developments or operations have to comply to them).
  • Decide on SW/HW upgrades with focus on technical perspective.
  • Support estimations of further implementations/developments in DWH/BI environments.
  • Conduct trainings on BI tool(s).
  • Aligns formulated business demand with the BI strategy.

Your profile

This challenging position demands on the one hand business knowledge and on the other hand IT-knowledge. Therefore the following qualifications are needed:

  • Completed education in information science (computer science, business computer science) with a business understanding.
  • Several years of experience in the modelling, developing and running of complex BI environments.
  • Several years of experience in building ETL procedures, creating data models (relational and dimensional) designing OLAP cubes, doing analysis and creating reports.
  • Several years of experience in a wide area of BI tools like MS SQL Server, MS Integration Services, SSAS, Business Objects BI Suite and Oracle DBMS.
  • Broad understanding of IT.
  • Professional experience in banking environment and the resulting reporting requirements.
  • Holistic thinking, analytical skills (quick comprehension, abstract thinking, recognize relationships).
  • Excellent knowledge of English in spoken and written.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills, team player.
  • Personal responsibility and flexibility.
  • Willingness to travel.

Required information pursuant to section 9 of the Austrian Equal Treatment Act [GleichbehandlungsG]: Minimum gross remuneration as per collective agreement from EUR 33,000 p.a. upwards - overpayment depending on qualifications and professional experience
