Opis posla

The writer shall be responsible for summarizing articles published in daily and weekly Croatian newspapers and TV news. They shall write directly in English, summarizing one or more sources covering the same story. Their articles shall convey the story the way it appeared in the sources, without adding additional insight or comments. Writer will be asked to write for the Politics and Diplomacy and Business and Economy Section.

Uvjeti

- Ability to recognize relevant information in source articles
- Familiarity with and understanding of the overall political, business and economic situation in Croatia
- Ability to summarize well, leaving out irrelevant information while retaining the intended meaning and connotations from the source articles
- Excellent reading and writing knowledge of English
- Familiarity with Croatian and English vocabulary and idioms
- Computer skills – MS Office package and the Internet
- Ability to work in an active, fast-moving, team-based environment
- Willingness to adapt to an evening working schedule
