DER Touristik Hotels & Investments GmbH (DTH) is currently searching for a

Financial Controller (m/f)

Main tasks:

  • To be responsible for a proper administrative day-to-day operation of the hotel as assigned and agreed by DTH. Such administrative responsibilities include, but are not limited to, General Accounting, Accounts Payable & Receivable, cashiers, Stock accounting, Purchasing, Cost Control and Personnel Office
  • To ensure a cost-conscious operation and to implement all necessary controlling systems to analyse and control present and budgeted results according to standards of the company
  • To control all administrative handlings at the hotel’s front Office, especially Reservation, Guest Accounting, Check-In, Check-Out and Night-Audit as well as the handling and organisation of all Point of Sales, especially F&B outlets, shops, commissions and concessions
  • To be consult the Regional Financial and Controlling Department regarding legal and tax affairs in order to obtain sufficient information on all valid tax and trade laws, orders and decrees of the host country
  • To inform DTH and the General Manager in case of any deviation and to ensure that all important affairs are reported to DTH immediately.

Your profile:

  • Minimum of five years of progressive finance management experience in a hotel setting
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA) or equivalent level experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork
  • Able to resolve conflicts with supervisors and employees
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting, finance and hospitality profession
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Strong analytic skills
