We are currently looking for a motivated, ambitious and efficient person with strong leadership skills for the position of
HEAD OF FINANCE CROATIA (m/f) (contract on indefinite period of time)
Organization and management of the finance, accounting, controlling, invoice reconciliation, customer support and debtor function
Recruitment, training, mentoring and development of staff
Managing monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, short and long terms financial plans and all statutory financial reporting
Providing sound financial support and insights to enable the Board to make critical business decisions
Presentation of financial results and insights to the Board
Managing and overseeing the taxation affairs of the organisation and liaising with the external tax firm for specialist advice
Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company
Building up and maintaining relationships with financial institutions, banks, investors and auditors of the company.
Actively participate in preparation for and execution of audits and ensure prompt implementation of audit recommendations
Reviewing all formal finance policies and procedures and ensuring the organisation is compliant with accounting standards
Managing and overseeing the company’s financial systems (SAP-FI and other internal ones) in cooperation with IT
Investment appraisal and analysis
University Degree in Accounting/Finance, MBA/CPA/ACCA is an advantage
5+ years’ financial management experience
Understanding of the various corporate finance operations, controls, and procedures required
Knowledge of accounting, taxation and finance, good knowledge of IFRS
Ability to work in an international environment and run multiple complex projects simultaneously
Strong analytical and problem solving capacities
Attention to detail
Confidential and trustworthy
Exceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills with the ability to communicate and manage staff at all levels
Ability to manage change from a people, process and technology perspective
Ability to lead by example and demonstrate a strong sense of integrity and ethics
Strong MS Office knowledge and English language fluency
