Maersk L&S in CSE Area is currently looking for an Finance Business Partner for Contract Logistics.

Finance Business Partner (m/f)
Work place: Rijeka (Croatia)

Key responsibilities

  • Cost monitoring and verification during the month with deep dive on customer and WHS site level
  • Work in close collaboration with cost controller team to ensure quality data
  • Collaboration with operations in process of accruals setting and Cooperation with Cost control outsourced teams
  • Volume + P&L sanity check and signing off the monthly financial figures
  • Engages with Delivery & Procurement to stay updated on business developments that impact cost developments
  • Maintain current reports with continuing improvement responsive to business needs
  • Preparation of data for monthly area performance meetings
  • Prepare analysis for the Contract Logistics on monthly basis
  • Deep dive into the results to identify issues and propose solution plus working actively in implementing the solutions with other functions
  • Support Investment Business Cases
  • Ad-hoc duties and tasks

Who we are looking for

  • As a minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Working experience as cost controller or similar finance role (3-5 years)
  • Able to work in a fast changing environment and dealing with ambiguity
  • Software skills: Advanced Microsoft office, Advanced Excel is a must and basic Power BI knowledge is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, challenger mindset, high drive and focus on personal development
  • Ability to work with big data
  • Being able to simplify finance concept and results in easily understandable message for non-finance people
  • Upper-Intermediate English level (spoken and written)
