The Position
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for driving business growth through market research, networking activities, and new client acquisition and retention, as well as maintaining relationships with current clients. The role requires the ability to understand and explain the company's services and value proposition and to communicate with both current and potential clients effectively.You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic business development plan, preparing client proposals and contracts, and advising clients on the highest level. You act as a sparring partner for clients - often at the management level - and advise them which service best fits their organization. Also, you must be able to work independently to achieve sales targets.
You also make an important contribution to optimizing the work processes within Smart Group and work closely with the other Consultants in order to understand their processes and ensure client satisfaction. In all the work you have the quality of execution high on the list.
The Candidate
We are looking for a highly motivated professional with a Master’s degree and more than 5 years of professional experience in B2B sales and business development or HR.We are a service provider committed to excellence which is our standard. That is why we are looking for a results-oriented problem solver with a strong service aptitude and a customer-centric attitude. As our new team member, you will be in everyday contact with our clients’ top management, so being a business professional with a well-developed business logic and an entrepreneurial mindset is a must. We need you to be an outstanding communicator with excellent writing skills and fluent in Croatian and English since we are recognized for excellent service in serving local and international clients.
