Transport Management System (TMS) Product Owner (m/f)
Job Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transport Management System (TMS) Product Owner to lead the development and evolution of our TMS product. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of transportation logistics and a proven track record in product ownership. As the TMS Product Owner, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring the successful delivery of an innovative and effective TMS solution. The position is planned to be based in one of the following locations: Poland (Warsaw), Romania (Bucharest), Bulgaria (Sofia) or Croatia (Zagreb).
Offered is hybrid model of work: home office (optional) + on-site work + travel up to 20% of working time.
Responsibilities:1. Product Vision and Strategy:
- Develop and communicate a clear and compelling product vision and strategy for the Transport Management System.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and customer needs through continuous market research.
- Create and maintain a prioritized product roadmap aligned with overall business objectives.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and prioritize features for each TMS product release.
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and end-users to gather and define detailed product requirements.
- Clearly articulate product requirements through user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
- Work closely with developers to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and address any questions or concerns during the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to define test cases, ensuring the TMS product meets high-quality standards.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and provide feedback to improve the product's functionality.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new TMS product releases, including training materials, documentation, and communication plans.
- Monitor product adoption and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Effectively communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure alignment on product messaging and customer support.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, with a focus on Transport Management Systems.
- In-depth understanding of transportation logistics and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
