Job Overview:We are in search of a proficient and forward-thinking Warehouse Automation Solutions Product Owner to lead the selection and implementation of hardware-based warehouse automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of warehouse automation technologies, including robotics, conveyors, and machinery. As the Warehouse Automation Solutions Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring the successful acquisition and integration of state-of-the-art hardware solutions for warehouse automation. The position is planned to be based in one of the following locations: Poland (Warsaw), Romania (Bucharest), Bulgaria (Sofia) or Croatia (Zagreb).
Offered is hybrid model of work: home office (optional) + on-site work + travel up to 20% of working time.
Responsibilities:1. Product Vision and Strategy:
- Develop and communicate a clear and innovative product vision and strategy for Warehouse Automation Solutions.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and customer needs related to hardware-based warehouse automation.
- Create and manage a strategic product roadmap aligned with overarching business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize features for each phase of technology acquisition.
- Work closely with internal customers and end-users to gather and define detailed product requirements for warehouse automation hardware solutions.
- Clearly articulate technology requirements through specifications, technical documentation, and acceptance criteria.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology vendors.
- Ensure a shared understanding of requirements with vendors and address any technical queries or concerns during the procurement process.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance and testing teams to define robust testing protocols for warehouse automation hardware.
- Participate in validation testing to ensure the reliability and performance of the hardware solutions.
- Oversee the seamless integration of acquired technologies into existing warehouse operations.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition and optimal performance of the hardware solutions.
- Collaborate with operations teams to understand workflows and identify opportunities for process optimization. Implement changes that enhance overall efficiency.
- Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and risks to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and IT, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, focusing on procuring and implementing hardware-based warehouse automation solutions.
- In-depth understanding of warehouse automation technologies, including robotics, conveyors, and machinery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations and IT.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
