Our client is one of the leading international companies in the field of medical industry that daily improves our health and life. Due to continuously growing business and strengthening its sales and marketing team, our client seeks a positive, dynamic, result oriented, organized, and responsible person for the position:

Product Specialist – based in Zagreb (m/f)

Main accountabilities include:

  • Meeting quarterly and annual turnover targets
  • Ensuring highest customer service through regular and systematic contacts and visits to customers
  • Maintaining and increasing market shares of assigned company’s products through fostering good relationships with customers
  • Developing targeted high potential customers and also acquiring new customers
  • Contributing to building and maintaining long-term partnerships with key customers and decision makers/key stakeholders
  • Implementing and monitoring action plans according to marketing strategy
  • Developing promotional materials in collaboration with marketing department
  • Leading new product/brand re/launches, assuming full responsibility for all pre-launch, launch and post-launch activities
  • Ensuring the products meet the needs of the marketplace, are of value to customers, differentiated from competitors and cost effective to develop and maintain
  • Delivering relevant business information through analysis and reporting market status to superiors
  • Promoting best practices and acting in accordance with the values and vision of the company

Ideal candidate background:

  • University degree in bio-medical, nursing, biotechnology or similar health studies
  • +3 years of relevant experience in promotion, sales and marketing in hospital environment; including at least one year of experience in marketing related tasks and activities
  • Proficient understanding of key account management principals, supply chain and purchasing processes in hospital centers
  • Proficient user of English language (in speech and writing), proficiency in other European languages is an advantage
  • Proficient user of MS Office applications
  • Driver's license and an active driver
  • Willingness to frequently travel locally, regionally and abroad (trainings/educations, events/congresses, company meetings)
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Orientation on results and success
  • Orientation on positive change and positive approach to work
  • High level of proactivity, resourcefulness and independence in work with readiness for teamwork
  • Able to show integrity and capability to react well in new, unfamiliar and complex situations
  • Developed organizational and analytical skills with ability to handle pressure and respect deadlines

Medical Representative – based in Zagreb (m/f)

Main accountabilities include:

  • Promoting the company and the selected company’s hospital products
  • Daily visiting customers (specialists, including KOL’s)
  • Achieving sales targets for assigned products; meeting quarterly and annual turnover targets
  • Establishing and building long-term relationships with targeted customers; fostering good relationships with existing customers, developing targeted high potential customers and acquiring new customers
  • Independently managing the assigned territory
  • Participating in new product launches and events
  • Managing various projects (customer trainings/presentations, events/congress organization)
  • Field management of local public tender applications
  • Promoting best practices and acting in accordance with the values and vision of the company

Ideal candidate background:

  • University degree in bio-medical, nursing, biotechnology or similar health studies or in business/ economics or similar with experience in hospital channel
  • Experience in health work/medical practice in health care centers/hospital environment is an advantage (experienced GP, pharmacist, nurse)
  • Experience in promotion and sales in hospital environment in an advantage
  • Understanding of key account management principals, supply chain and purchasing processes in hospital centers
  • Proficient user of English language (in speech and writing), proficiency in other European languages is an advantage
  • Proficient user of MS Office applications
  • Driver's license and an active driver
  • Willingness to frequently travel locally, and occasionally regionally and abroad (trainings/educations, events/congresses, company meetings)
  • Orientation on results and success, achieving set goals
  • Developed communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain long-term relationships with customers
  • Ability to learn quickly and solve new problems with orientation on positive change.
