JOB SUMMARY
Oversee, direct, and coordinate the mechanical and electrical engineering of facility, maintenance, construction, and care of grounds, buildings, building equipment, energy management and production equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, interview and hire Maintenance Supervisor, Housekeeping Supervisor, and Facility personnel.
- Identify individual and team strengths and goals, and development needs on an ongoing basis.
- Budget responsibility for hiring, developing and retaining employees.
TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facility management and maintenance including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, ESD, humidity, environmental and janitorial disciplines in a Cleanroom environment.
- Set up procedures locally in area of responsibility, based on global standards
- Establish, maintain and improve our total productive maintenance program for asset management centered on CMMS.
- When possible and/or practical, exchange knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization.
- Work with and understand FM Global requirements and Building Management Systems
- Remain current with global and local regulatory standards in the areas of responsibility.
- Establish good cooperation with local authorities on issuing permits or other matters in area of responsibility.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of five years management experience in all aspects of facilities management, which includes Facilities Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline required.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
- Knowledge and experience of engineering in manufacturing environment, within a Cleanroom environment.
- Experience with working with local authorities and relevant institutions.
- Proven track record of successful leadership skills, implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
- Strong and convincing communication skills.
- Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
- Knowledge of English language, written and verbal
