About you
As a member of the Cloudsense Platform & Enablement team, the Infrastructure Consultant is responsible for provisioning, testing and supporting CloudSense Platform and demonstration environments.
- Provisioning of CloudSense Platform and demonstration environments (Salesforce, Commerce Cloud and assorted external services connectivity) including:
- Installation & configuration of Cloudsense product and solution packages
- Configuration of interfaces to external services
- Deployment of full-stack CloudSense Platform environments
- Implementing and executing provisioning automation scripts
- Regular testing of deployed environments across Salesforce, Commerce Cloud and integrated applications and services including:
- Manual testing
- Implementing and executing test automation scripts
- Supporting users of CloudSense Platform and demonstration environments including ticket management & resolution and user administration
Your Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in creating applications and features that conform to best practice coding standards, make optimal use of advanced framework capabilities, and have required unit test coverage
- Follow industry best practices, make proper use of software development tooling, and adhere to CloudSense development processes.
- Work with testers to help define the approach for testing of new deliverables, and ensure timely resolution of any issues discovered during the testing process
- Provide product support, which includes educating colleagues in the use of new product features, as well as analyzing and resolving issues reported by project teams and customers
- Produce technical documentation as required
- Help develop other members of the CloudSense development team through on-the-job mentoring
Competencies: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Essential:
- Experience in a similar role (some or all of provisioning, testing, technical support and automation)
- At least 3 years of experience working in the software industry
- Demonstrable experience with some form of programming or scripting language (e.g. Javascript, VB, SQL, HTML, Bash / PowerShell)
- Good English in both written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritizing and managing own workload
- Be a clear communicator and team player
- Be self-motivated and able to work under your own initiative
- Have a talent for problem-solving in a fast-paced technical environment
- Have an eye for detail
Desirable:
- B.Sc. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- Prior experience with Salesforce technologies
- Prior experience with CloudSense technologies
- Prior experience with Rapise or other test automation tools
- Specific programming experience with Javascript or Apex
