General Forman Rail Engineering (m/f)
Germany
Language Skills:
- German – B2, English – B2
Professional Skills:
- Management, division and supervision of subordinate employees and external subcontractors
- Local support of the construction manager
- Planning, organisation and controlling of the construction
- Ensuring the measures necessary for the construction
- Keeping records and documentation on site
- Monitoring of economic and technical construction work
- Instruction and instruction for subcontracting companies
Education (min):
- Technical education in Construction or Polishing School
Contract:

Role description:
- Leading an onsite team
- Promoting Health and Safety, Environment to the wider team, ensuring quality, timely and safe work practices;
- Fulfilling Health & Safety responsibilities by adhering to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy and Management Plans;
- Tracking and monitoring KPI compliance and recommending improvements to systems to maintain team production;
- Ensuring that all plant, transport and materials used on the site are of sufficient quality and quantity to complete the task in question;
- Taking responsibility for the management of the subcontractors appointed to the contract.
- Ensuring all works undertaken comply with set budget.
- Ensure the site is kept to a high standard and meets management expectations.
- Carrying out any disciplinary measures necessary to site operatives, site foreman or subcontractors in accordance with policy.
Competences:
- Completed polishing school or technical education in the area of construction
- Several years of practical experience as a general foreman / foreman
- Characteristics such as initiative, teamwork and leadership skills
- German language skills, additional language skills are an advantage
Interfaces:
- Reports to the Project Manager
