Digital marketing specijalist (m/f)

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be up to date on with Google standards and provide recommendations to setup the site correctly - site speed, image sizing, XML sitemaps
- Sitemap creation and optimization
- Increasing online bookings via our homepage and payments (separate KPI)
- Classical marketing tasks for Yacht Sales and Charter Sales
- Attending boat shows and events for understanding the business
- On-page optimization and content editing to support sustainable keyword ranking growth
- Providing best practices and recommendations on page URLs, H1s, titles and meta descriptions
- Keyword research, analysis, and implementation of content
- Content audits and planning
- Perform routine website evaluations to identify areas of improvement and potential issues
- Internal link building
- External (inbound) link building. Creating relationships with our partners, guest blogging opportunities, and other free and white hat inbound link pursuits for

EU:
- Competitive analysis and keeping up with industry trends and news for the charter/travel industries
- Analyzing keyword ranking reports and analytics data to make recommendations and take actions to optimize the website
- Making recommendations to design and/or development to improve the user experience and the overall site performance
- Improving calls to action to drive more conversions on the website
Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of search engine optimization experience
- Track record managing SEO/content for hundreds of keywords
- Knowledge of web design
- Strong technical knowledge
- Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with a sense of urgency
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent English in speech and writing
- Ability to quickly adjust priorities to respond to pressing demands
- Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of the yacht charter industries is a plus
- BA/BS in Communications, Marketing or SEO-related field is a plus
- Fluency in English and Croatian, German and French is a plus
