Job description

The Quality manager will oversee Weidmann's production quality system by facilitating both internal and external audits and appraisal procedure on sites. This role will have strong connection with all departments in Weidmann and will drive Weidmann on the quality journey and will spearhead initiativeson local, regional and global level.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes throughout the value chain
- Work with customers as necessary to eliminate quality issues
- Lead complex quality cases with multifunctional participants including customer interactions
- Act as a primary contact person between the organization and customers for quality related topics
- Review and/or create customer documents where appropriate
- Develop and maintain systems to measure quality performance of the organization against customer and internal requirements
- Monitor performance of the organization per agreed requirements, specifications and intervention levels and proactively take necessary action to communicate/advise/assist across all departments as needed
- Increase globally quality culture through awareness training and shared learnings
- Drive forward continuous improvement project with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction
- Perform and coordinate ISO 9001 internal and external audits
- Lead and coordinate customer audits and follow up on agreed Corrective/Preventive actions until sustainable implementation

Requirements

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and advanced quality (ISO 9001) experience
- Green belt
- Proven experience to conduct and help maintain the internal audit program with an effective corrective action system
- Ability to lead and facilitate teams in quality-related activities. Strong understanding of operational processes
- Proficiency in Project Management, well developed problem solving and process improvement skills
- Fluent English skills written and oral, every other language is an advantage
- Self-motivated, self-drive, result oriented, service minded, persistent
- Well-developed analytical abilities, perfect communication skills, and the ability to influence at an international level
- Ability to travel internationally (approx 30%)
