In order to meet our ambitious goals, we are searching for an Accountant to join our small dedicated Accounting team to help provide and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial information for one of our key clients with presence in US and EU, as part of our consulting services.

We are looking for eager individuals to join our team!

The Accountant’s primary role will be to maintain and record the day-to-day financial transactions for one or more of our top direct clients. You will be assisting with bookkeeping, tracking expenses, budgets, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings on behalf of the Company’s clients. This position offers the right candidate to professionally grow within our organization and the opportunity to expand their knowledge of US GAAP accounting.

On the job, you will

• Collaborate with different departments to support overall department goals and objectives
• Assisting in recording intercompany booking and eliminations
• Preparation of balance sheet and bank reconciliations - A/R and A/P
• Prepare all required journal entries and general ledger maintenance using Quickbooks
• Filing and providing general administrative support as well as creating accounting reports when requested by management
• Assist in various duties related to the internal financial controlling process and collaborating with our client’s external accounting firms
• Other related duties as assigned by the Company

What you will bring to this role

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in a similar position
• Proficiency experience with such applications as Microsoft Office and accounting software - Quickbooks experience is preferable, but other similar software is acceptable.
• Experience with multi-currency and multi-company accounting
• Understanding of double booking
• Proven organizational skills
• English proficiency is a must (C2 level)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and attention to details & deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure and to easily flow with changes to priorities and projects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-performance organization

The Position

Our team is remote and works from the United States, Canada, France, United Kingdom, Spain, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
