JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Follow up costs in the plant and challenge departments (Cost Center Accounting), monitoring deviations in costs, analyzing the plant P&L development and proposing/working out corrective actions if necessary
- Analyzing working capital development and proposing/working out corrective actions/improvements if necessary
- Support and/or implement activities aimed at increasing efficiency & productivity (e.g. reduction set-up times,…)
- Detailed monitoring and deviation analysis of current investment projects, preparation of plant budgets, forecasts and mid-term plans, preparation of investment requests including return on investment calculations
- Support in improving the budgeting and forecasting process in terms of efficiency & accuracy in line with business needs
- Support in preparing ad-hoc reports for different business areas such as sales, purchasing, production and others
- Checking inventory level for material in production and cross-check booking
- Performing other related tasks at the order of the immediate manager
- Ensure adherence of the plant with regard to group controlling processes and inform Head of Controlling in case of identified deviations.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- A graduate economist and/or business administration, desirable degree in controlling, finance and/or accounting
- Work experience of at least 7 years on similar or same jobs (experience in a multinational company and production activity is desirable)
- Excellent knowledge of methodology and tools in the field of controlling (knowledge of project management methodology is desirable)
- Knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP accounting standards
- Knowledge of work in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) or in another ERP system
- Special attention to detail, good organization skills, ability to multi-task
- Proactive and solution-oriented, team player, good communication skills (orally and in writing)
- Proficient in MS Office programs (expecially in Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Foreign languages: English language skills in speech and writing (experienced user C1)
- Driving license category B
