Opis posla

Your mission

Glovo's team is looking for an Accountant in Croatia's Finance Department who will play a key role in the Finance team - providing data in order for the department to make sound decisions. We are in a startup where the time to market is a crucial factor, so we want a problem-solver person with hands-on attitude.

The journey:
- Issue Invoices to partners & couriers
- Assist in collecting outstanding debts from partners; prepare and check partner balances
- AR/AP reconciliation
- Prepare and upload payments for suppliers and partners
- Prepare, check and analyze accounting entries and mappings
- Coordinate financial month end closing with external accounting providers
- Receive and process supplier invoices
- Communicate daily with partners and suppliers
- Make sure that the company complies with local financial, legal and tax requirements
- Assist in the preparation of monthly balance sheet, income statement and other financial statements according to statutory and Glovo financial guidelines
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, promoting solutions to possible problems detected, and reduce manual tasks

Uvjeti

What you will bring to the ride:
- 1-2 years of experience in positions related to: Accounting, Corporate Finance, Treasury
- Being proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Possessing basic knowledge on taxes (VAT and CIT) and statutory regulations
- Experience in similar sectors or technology companies will be valued
- Analytical profile, data-driven, goal-oriented and teamwork
- Advanced English
