Sr. Java Developer (m/f)

Opis posla

As Senior Java Developer your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain the Core API and supported systems. They will play a lead role in project development, ensuring the delivery of high-quality artifacts while adhering to agile/scrum development methodology.

Core Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and deliver across the entire app lifecycle – from requirements gathering to analysis, design, unit testing, and support
- Develop high-performing middleware solutions deployable as APIs in a cloud environment
- Stay up to date on the latest industry trends in Java and middleware technologies
- Responsible for production support activities and on-call support on a rotational basis
- Communicate technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Provides accurate and timely estimates and work breakdown schedules
- Debug defects in existing codebases, conduct code reviews, and analyze performance issues
- Other duties, as assigned

Uvjeti

- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Master’s Degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in developing high-performing Java Applications
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications
- Experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, SLF4J, WildFly, Tomcat, and Postman
- Experience in databases like Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Experience in implementing Business Object Model and data integration with JSON/XML
- Knowledge of working with GIT repositories, Jenkins pipelines, and containerized applications using Docker
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and application monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana
- Proficient in developing RESTful APIs and integrating with APIs & Webservices based on RESTful & SOAP
- Experience in handling SSO & JWT tokens
- Proficient in Agile and Scrum practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, English required.
