Main responsibilities:
- Evaluating current work processes and structures, suggesting optimizations to increase efficiency, effectiveness and productivity
- Organizing the operations department, setting team and individual goals, and monitoring task execution
- Regularly communicating with and providing feedback to subordinates regarding work performance, achievements, areas for improvement, and reporting observations to management
- Utilizing internal IT tools, applications, and programs and suggesting possible optimizations
- Operationally monitoring the progress of work processes and taking measures to ensure their timely execution
- Monitoring and analyzing indicators of work quality and suggesting measures for more rational use of resources as well as employee working hours
- Coordinating and negotiating correspondence with third parties/people for other tasks
- Providing updates on changes in regulations, instructions, orders, reports, and other notices to all employees
Required skills, knowledge and experience:
- Strong track record in a leadership role overseeing transport and/or logistics teams
- Relevant university qualifications preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to present information to top management
- Experience driving optimizations and managing change
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Driver’s license category B
