Job description

In this role, you will be accountable for sales of systems solutions in metals industries in PAPI division for costumers mostly in Europe, supporting to achieve sales volumes and margins. You will use your experience and support to build enduring customer relationships.

Your responsibilities:
- Working with front end sales and operations to prepare bids, ensuring technical and financial accuracy
- Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities
- Using your knowledge of customers’ needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers
- Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing and front end sales team
- Developing effective marketing activities

Requirements

Your background:
- At least a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering fields
- At least 5 years of experience in engineering roles and the willingness to move into sales roles
- Sound knowledge of technical background in automation, drives and in industrial automation process industries (metals, paper..) market
- Ability to develop and manage customer relationships and to know pricing strategies would be considered a plus
- Very good Knowledge of English language, other languages would be considered a plus
- Availability to travel for business meetings
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills
