Q&A Engineer & Manager (m/f)

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience in test case creation and manual/automation testing
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JS, responsive design, etc.)
- Ability to lead QA Team and create testing plans, process, and oversight of testing execution
- Ability to write and execute detailed test cases that exercise all aspects of the system under test
- Experience with Automation Tools and Technologies like Selenium Webdriver is a plus
- Proficient in software tools such as Jira is a plus
- Experience with e-Commerce projects is a plus
- Effective time management skills
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Maintain the bug tracking database (Jira)
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Execute and evaluate manual test cases and report test results
- Coordinate and manage the QA team and improve the QA process
- Design, develop and execute scripts as needed to support automation testing tools (mostly UI tests)
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Work closely with Architects, Developers, and PMs to define testing strategies
- Actively participate in development team meetings & sprint planning
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
