Group Finance and Accounting Specialist (m/f)
Job description:
- Maintenance of the Group Chart of Accounts (opening new general ledger accounts on the request of local companies, accounts usage description, classification and mapping of the accounts to the lines of Group reports)
- Maintenance of the Group Accounting Manual (adding new accounting rules, new IFRS and booking schemes)
- Active participation in the creation of Group accounting rules and instructions for new business processes
- Active participation in the Orbico Group consolidation process (administration of Group applications, Group journals preparations and entries, intra companies reconciliation process, data preparation)
- Support to local companies when submitting data to Group for consolidation process
- Preparation of the regular and ad hoc Group reports for the Board and external users (banks, etc.) with commentaries
- Maintenance of existing and development of new reports in Group applications in accordance with the business needs
- Participation in various Group projects in the field of finance, accounting and controlling
Qualifications/Skills:
- University degree in economics (preferred finance and accounting)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial and accounting or similar area in medium or big companies
- Strong knowledge of accounting rules and regulations with proven operational experience
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented person with ability to set priorities
- Highly developed analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with Can Do attitude
- Ability to recognize issues, develop solutions and implement them
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, readiness to learn new systems and tools
