For their newly established entity in Croatia they are currently looking for an:

Area Sales Manager (m/f) - Croatia and Slovenia

Job purpose:

On this position you will manage the Croatian office covering Croatian territory as well as Slovenia. Setting up the company business model in the local office will be your focus as well as identifying the customers’ needs through partnership value-based sales techniques delivering customer-oriented solutions to grow our clients market share. Engaging leadership and implementation of new digital services in order to maximize profits in your sales territory are also aim of position.


  • building up the business in Croatia in alignment with company’s strategy and vision
  • realization of the strategy and translation of the applicable objectives into national business plans to realize the full potential of the market
  • manage, coach, develop and support local sales team
  • maximize profit in the assigned sales territory
  • close partnership with the customer; market presence
  • roll out new digital tools and services
  • participate on projects on international level


  • 5+ years’ management experience (scale up sales, leadership skills)
  • excellent competencies in sales excellence and value selling; modern and structured approach in sales and proven track record of building sales revenues
  • experience in B2B business- pricing, marketing, sales strategy, understanding of retail
  • preferably academic degree in a commercial, financial or technical subject
  • fluent written and spoken English and Croatian language
  • good knowledge of IT systems, used to communicate and report via CRM systems
  • E-business oriented, ability to support digital transformation demonstrating clear commitment to building the business organization for the long-term
  • ability to think strategically and determined to execute
  • business and customer oriented
  • open minded, engaged, entrepreneurial spirit, fast learner
  • willing to travel
